Natural Constipation Remedy - Stop the Pain

Finally, a natural constipation remedy for the delicate balance of a woman’s digestive tract.Natural Constipation Remedy

Do you suffer from bloating, excessive gas, constipation, lack of energy, irritability, and feeling lethargic and drained? Do you have at least one bowel movement a day? You may be surprised to find out the causes.

Constipation plagues many women and they aren’t even aware it is a problem.

“Mary” had never had more than one bowel movement a week, two if she was lucky, her entire adult life. She constantly felt bloated, crampy, and distended. She suffered from putrid flatulence, and barely had the energy to get up in the morning. She couldn’t understand why she looked fat when she never ate, being too afraid of further contributing to her gas, bloating and pain.

Mary consulted a Naturopathic Doctor, a licensed doctor who specializes in treating the person and the cause of problems rather than only treating the symptoms. She learned that rather than starving herself to only later binge, there was a more natural course. Rather than severely limit what went into her body, she would be better served by increasing what came out.

She learned she was chronically constipated and found a natural constipation remedy.

She discovered the two nutrients her body was desperate for, but not receiving. Mary lives in the United States, not a third world country. The two nutrients here body was craving were in ready supply, she just didn’t realize how important they were.

Mary found out which over the counter and prescription drugs she was taking, were making her feel worse rather than making her better.

She found out what she could do for 20 to 40 minutes a day that be a miracle cure for many of the ailments she had simply learned to live with, and had stopped even dreaming of a solution for.

Mary discovered that her diet was slowly killing her. She thought she ate fairly healthy, but these great foods at the wrong times in the wrong combinations were creating toxins in her body.

After two weeks of treatment from her N.D. here are some of the results Mary had.

• Regular soft daily stools
• Increase in energy
• Healthier younger looking skin
• Looser clothes
• No more bloating and cramps
• Less headaches and irritability
• Much less gas
• Regained control of her own body

Severe chronic constipation affects nearly 20 percent of the population; this statistic is even higher for women. Most women do not realize this is even an issue. They have come to terms that it is perfectly natural to strain and pass only one to two small hard formed stools in a week.

They have come to believe their metabolism is naturally slow and digests more of the food that they take in than their male counterparts. They don’t realize that the food they eat literally just sits and rots in their large intestine.

They don’t understand that irregularity is keeping pounds and inches on their body by putting their systems into emergency mode.

Most women do not realize that food not passing through their systems in 24 hours or less is opening them up for higher risks and complications for hemorrhoids, diverticulitis, varicose veins, and even cancer.

Finally, there is a natural constipation remedy, designed especially for women.

Here is what it will do for you.

• Stop irregularity
• Eliminate harmful laxatives and stool softeners
• Relieve bloating
• Stop embarrassing putrid gas
• Alleviate cramping
• Incredible energy boost
• Ease irritability

Cure For Constipation

While this is not strictly a natural constipation remedy, it is a short term cure for constipation that is safer than prolonged laxative use. Millions of people suffer from constipation every day. In fact the second most purchased item in the health industry is for constipation, second only to headache remedies.

It is thought that many of the headaches are in fact caused by constipation, and many of the headache medicines we take make our constipation worse.

Without further ado, here is the quick, cheap, and easy cure for constipation… Sugar free chewing gum.

Don’t laugh, let me explain.

Take two pieces, one at a time, chew them thoroughly, and swallow them. Here is why they work.

First by chewing for a while, you get all those digestive juices flowing. Your brain knows when you chew food is on the way so it starts to prepare. This helps. But the real power in the gum is a chemical in sugar free gum which is poorly digested, absorbed, and metabolized. The ingredient is sorbitol.

Sorbitol belongs to a class of polyalcohol sugars and includes Sorbitol, mannitol, and xylitol. All of which you can find as active ingredients in some laxatives. Sorbitol does occur naturally in foods such as pears, prunes, and other fruits.

Sorbitol is used as a sweetener because it tastes sweet on the tongue, but because of the chemical structure of the sugar, it is not readily absorbed by the small intestine. Since the sugar is not absorbed, it doesn’t count.

Sorbitols make up and lack of absorbtion gives it a laxative effect. Please be careful using sugar free gum as a cure for constipation. While being very effective as a laxative, it is just that, a laxative. Consuming large amounts of it can cause severe diarrhea and weight loss.

However, if you are determined to change your ways to regulate your bowels with the top three natural constipation remedies; water, fiber, and exercise, and need a boost to get things moving, a couple stick of sugar free gum may just do the trick.

So, in closing, if you are suffering from mild constipation and want a quick cure for constipation, take two sticks of gum and call me in the morning.

No wonder 9 out of 10 dentists recommend sugar free gum to their patients.

Symptoms Of Constipation

There are many symptoms of constipation. Here is a list to help you just in case you are not sure if you have constipation or not. This list is not inclusive, which means there are more, however you may only have some and not others, these are the most common though. When you recognize the symptoms of constipation, you can find a natural constipation remedy.

  • Difficult bowel movement
  • Painful bowel movement
  • Hard stool
  • Dry stool
  • Straining to move your bowels
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea - caused by blockage only allowing fluids to pass
  • Lethargy
  • Irritability
  • Lack of energy
  • Abdominal bloating or distention
  • Painful abdominal cramps
  • Infrequent bowel movement
  • Putrid or excessive flatulence
  • Loss of appetite
  • Vomiting
  • Weight loss
  • Water retention
  • Hemorrhoids
  • Bloody feces
  • Extreme urge to defecate with no results

Most of these symptoms of constipation are self evident, however if you suffer from any of the more serious symptoms such as blood in stool, severe cramps, severe bloating, not having a bowel movement in a week, these are severe and require immediate care from a physician.

You will likely be given a strong laxative to solve the immediate threat. But beware; prolonged laxative use can cause your colon to shut down and no longer work. If possible a natural constipation remedy is much better in the long run than a quick cure for constipation.

Most people will suffer from minor constipation at one time in their life. Millions of Americans suffer daily from chronic constipation. Knowing the symptoms and causes of constipation is the first step to relieving them. Many of the symptoms of constipation are similar to many common ailments.

It has been said that all illness begins in the colon. Don’t ignore these symptoms. Finding a natural constipation remedy will not only remove these symptoms, but many of the common ailments we quietly suffer from. What’s good for your digestion is good for your entire body.

Medications Are Not A Natural Constipation Remedy

What toxic chemicals are you putting into your body? This natural constipation remedy is about the medications you take. There are many causes of constipation, one is medicine you take. We mistakenly believe that over the counter drugs are completely safe and have no detrimental side effects. This is far from the truth. Just read the labels.

Here is a common medication that can cause constipation, antacids. This can happen for several reasons. One cause is the active ingredient in some antacids which neutralize the stomach acids. This causes your food to not be completely digested. More mass is passed through the small intestine into the colon. Since it was not completely digested it rots in the large intestine. Very little digestion occurs in the large intestine. Mainly water is absorbed.

By having more mass, it moves more slowly through the colon causing a traffic jam of sorts. This allows more water than should be extracted to be taken. This is why constipated stools are often so hard.  Small amounts of antacids will not harm you, however prolonged or frequent use should be avoided.

The two best ways to control heartburn are through proper diet and specific exercises which relieve indigestion and heartburn almost immediately.

Calcium is another ingredient that can cause constipation from antacids. Although touted as a must have for women, it is not in an easily digested and metabolized form. Which simply means your body cannot make use of it. It’s akin to eating bark as fiber in your diet. Yes tree bark is fiber, but not the kind or form humans need.

Antacids are just one drug inhibiting your natural constipation remedy. Not A Natural Constipation Remedy

Many over the counter painkillers cause constipation. Do you regularly take pain medicine for a headache? Did you know that one of the symptoms of constipation is a headache? What about for cramps? Same thing. Can you start to see what may be a viscous circle going on?

Many women can simply cut the dose that they take. Their bodies are smaller and may require less medication to have the same desired effect.

Lethargy and lack of energy can cause a headache and joint pain. You don’t feel good, so you don’t move and exercise. Less blood and oxygen are exchanged in your cells. Toxins are released into your blood stream from your colon because you are constipated and can’t evacuate them from your bowels.

Solve the constipation and you will likely not need the medicine. This is why exercise is so important. Increased blood flow in your body helps everything. Why do you think very physically active people don’t suffer from as many ailments?

It has been said that all illness starts in the colon. We don’t give it much thought until there is a problem. A natural constipation remedy can solve many of your issues that you wouldn’t ordinarily consider related. Your body is a machine. Plug up the exhaust of your car with a potato and see how long and how well it will run.

This is a very holistic approach to your body. In our hustle and bustle daily lives we want instant relief. Consequently we treat symptom after symptom and ignore the root cause. Many times treating the symptom exacerbates the true underlying cause.

Quick And Easy Cure For Constipation

Are you tired of suffering from constipation? Are you sick of feeling bloated and having putrid flatulence? Would you like to end the pain and discomfort associated with constipation? Do you realize the dangers of prolonged use of laxatives? Would you be willing to give up ten to fifteen minutes a day out of your life, if it would help you find a cure for constipation? What if this time would also make you more valuable as a friend, wife, and mother? Cure For Constipation

Your grandmother has preached this cure to you your entire life. She probably didn’t realize it would help cure constipation. No, this one is not fiber, prunes, fruit, juice, or even nuts. It is not drinking more water, or less dairy. It is also not exercising. All of these are important and will help find a cure for constipation. This one is far simpler. It is an exercise of sorts, but won’t make you sweat, won’t require any special clothes, or even shoes.

OK enough already! What is this magic obvious cure for irregularity? Chew your food.

In today’s world we have been trained to wolf down our food as fast as possible. We don’t have time to eat, so we eat quickly, because we have 300 other things competing for our time. Here is what happens when we do chew our food, and what happens when we do not.

First, when we chew.

Digestion begins in the mouth. Saliva contains enzymes needed to begin breaking the food we eat down. Our saliva alters the chemical makeup of the food. Chewing, also physically changes the structure of the food. Take grain for instance. Not only does the saliva change the grain into usable starch (sugar) so our body can absorb it, but the physical action of chewing mechanically breaks the fibers in the food. Your teeth effectively grind your food, so the saliva enzymes can completely penetrate the food you are chewing.

When you chew, your brain sends signals to your stomach and intestines that food is on the way. Your body starts producing everything it needs to properly digest the food you eat. When your stomach and intestines have a head start, the food you eat is more readily digested. It is passed through your system more efficiently and effectively. The more nutrients absorbed from the food you eat, the less fat that is absorbed for later use.

Read that last sentence again. The more nutrients that are absorbed from the food you eat, the less fat that is extracted and stored for later use. Ladies you are starving yourself eating fast, your body goes into panic mode and grabs up every gram of fat it can get, because it is not getting what it needs from digestion.

What happens when you do not thoroughly chew your food.

When saliva can’t completely saturate your food, it does not break down in your stomach. The acids produces in your stomach are made to react with the enzymes in your saliva. This is how digestion works. Less saliva equals less digestion by the acids. Therefore, only the outside layer of the food is digested. Your small intestine can only absorb a small amount of the food, just the outside. The result, besides the fat being absorbed (which when left in the food, makes your stools soft), is pushed to the small intestine to rot.

This rotting creates the gas, bloating, and when the water is absorbed, makes your stools hard. Hence causing constipation.

Now what about making you a better person?

God gave you two ears and one mouth. By chewing your food completely, you get a chance to listen better. You will be surprised what will happen to your relationships when you listen twice as much as you talk.

Chewing your food is quite likely the simplest cure for constipation available.

What Two Nutrients Are Your Body Craving To Provide A Natural Constipation Remedy

There are two magic nutrients that most women just flat ignore. These two are hard to find in some third world countries, but not in America or the rest of the developed world. These two ingredients will solve most women’s constipation, yet they remain ignored. The natural constipation remedy surrounds us and is so obvious that it is usually ignored and forgotten about.

The first is water. One of the greatest resources we have to create a healthy digestive system, skin, body, and overall health is water. It is the primary building block of every cell in our bodies, yet few people drink enough every day.

The job of the large intestine is to extract water from our wastes. When we dehydrate ourselves by not taking in sufficient supplies of water for our bodies, our internal organs go into an emergency state of preservation and extract and conserve water wherever it can find it.

The two biggest places out body gets stored water from is our digestive system (causing hard formed stools), literally causing constipation by design, and our skin. When we take water from our skin, we wrinkle, our skin gets tough, we get varicose veins, and a whole legion of other complications. When our bodies take it from our intestines, we get constipated.

Want a completely free natural constipation remedy? Drink at least eight glasses of water a day. That is water, not fluids. Fruit juice is sugar to our bodies. Pop is completely foreign. Tea and coffee further dehydrate you because they are diuretics. They force your body to get rid of even more water.

Water is funny in our systems. The number one way to keep from retaining water is to drink more. When you increase your water intake, your body goes out of emergency mode and releases the extra water we have stored as weight.

If you want more youthful healthier skin, to lose weight, and find a natural constipation remedy, drink more water.

Now for the second nutrient missing in most women’s diet… fiber.

Here are the four easiest and best sources of fiber, fruit (preferably raw), vegetables (again preferably raw, lightly steamed, or baked), nuts and seeds, WHOLE grains (brown bread, brown rice… Not white). The Two Nutrients Your Body Need For a Natural Constipation Remedy

Most of the foods we find at the grocery store have zero grams of dietary fiber. Even those that claim to have been processed and cooked beyond recognition. Most processed foods contain no fiber or at best very little. Bread, pasta, pizza, cookies, and cake are all examples. I’m not claiming you should instantly start eating a high fiber diet. But start slow, start with an apple as a between meal snack.

Would it kill you or your kids to eat your lunch on a wheat bread sandwich rather than Wonder bread? Maybe the kids, but you? Whole wheat pasta is three feet from the white. Captain Crunch in the morning or a healthier granola cereal?

So, a lot more water and a little more fiber. This could be all you need to find your own natural constipation remedy.

If you have not already signed up for Dr. Mauro’s ecourse on “The Seven Common Causes Of Constipation” I suggest you do so immediately. It is completely free, and will help you find your very own natural constipation remedy.
